An inherently natural part of being human is to feel separate from what we need and want, to feel separate from Love.
Not only is there nothing wrong with that part of us…
It is what we came to experience.
Every single one of us is constantly trying to figure out a way to feel better, a way to meet our desires.
But what happens when our desires lead us into trouble?
We do one of two things...
We indulge ourselves in those desires, sometimes to excess...
Or we block those desires.
There’s nothing wrong with our desires or how we deal with them.
This human experience is an exploration, and it’s important we explore every aspect of what we are evolving.
Because the Buddha said that desire leads to suffering...
There are those who try to block their desires, to become desire-less.
But desiring not to have desires is still desiring.
WTF?! What are we desirous humans to do?
Relax! All is well.
I invite you to try something new with your desires...
Close your eyes and breathe.
And go straight into your desires.
Feel the wanting, the yearning, the real sensation of not having what you want.
Embrace that human part of you...
Even and especially if what you’re wanting is not good for you.
That part of you that desires is asking to feel One again because it feels separate from what it wants.
And the cool thing is that you and me are connected together with all that is...
So not only are we able to embrace the desirous human part of us...
But we can give ourselves what we wanted from outside of ourselves.
Because although it looks like we want something or someone outside of ourselves...
What we’re really wanting is more of our own presence.
After we’ve embraced that part of us that feels so separate from what it desires...
We can make a conscious choice to either give ourselves that in the physical realm...
Or just enjoy this moment exactly as it is without having to have anything more.
Both options coming from the Love that we are.
Either way we experience our Oneness and enjoy being fully human and fully Divine. 💖
